Yusuke Yamani is currently an interim associate dean for Perry Honors College and an Associate Professor of Psychology at 91ÖÆƬ³§. He received the B.A. degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Geneseo, 2008, the M.S. degree in Human Factors from Institute of Aviation, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Psychology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013. He completed his postdoctoral research at University of Massachusetts Amherst and Liberty Mutual Research Institute for Safety, Hopkinton, MA. His research program focuses on basic and applied aspects of attention, perception and cognition. His current research focuses on 1) visual attention allocation of drivers of automated driving, 2) human-automation trust and interaction, and 3) sustained attention in visual workspaces.
