Join us for a powerful community conversation on healthcare disparities in marginalized communities, inspired by the film John Q. This event will explore themes from the film, where a father faces extreme measures to secure life-saving treatment for his son due to lack of healthcare access. Using John Q as a springboard, we will engage in a discussion on the systemic challenges that marginalized communities face when seeking affordable and equitable healthcare.
This will lead directly into the community conversation of "No Co-pay Needed" A panel of healthcare professionals, community leaders, and educators will lead the discussion, offering insights on how these real-life disparities can be addressed, and what can be done to bridge the gap in access to care. The event aims to foster solutions-oriented dialogue, focusing on both individual advocacy and systemic reform.
