University police will continue serving on campus despite classes moving online-- but in a slightly different uniform.

Coupled with safe social distancing, we will continue to protect and serve our community throughout this crisis. Based on the latest CDC recommendations, this is a precaution you may start seeing more frequently in public.
Despite there being less student presence, Officers continue to patrol nearby neighborhoods and on campus to ensure the safety of those who may remain. Dispatchers with Old Dominion Emergency Communications department continue to serve as well, answering your calls and ensuring your safety.
Our hours have not changed and will not in the foreseeable future. We are confident in our ability to protect and serve despite a growing global pandemic.
