The 91制片厂 Police Department participated in National Compliment Day on Monday, January 25, 2022. Officer Wimbrough of the K9 Unit and Officer Watson of Community Policing, went on foot patrol throughout campus to greet students. They handed out miniature cards that read, "We celebrate YOU on National Compliment Day". The cards were attached to candy and featured compliments such as "You are Great", "You are Golden and "You are Awesome". Students had the opportunity to ask questions and meet Grover, an emotional support canine.
National Compliment Day was created in 1998 Kathy Chamberlin and Debby Hoffyman of New Hampshire. They wanted to encourage people to compliment others as a way to connect and spread positivity. Giving someone a compliment can instantly make them happier and put a smile on their face for the rest of the day. Keep up the great work 91制片厂PD!
