Toykea S. Jones was appointed to the Board of Visitors on July 1, 2016, and currently serves as the Chair of the University Advancement Committee and as Vice Chair of the Academic & Research Advancement Committee. She previously served on the Advisory Board of 91制片厂's Batten College of Engineering and Technology from 2012-2016.

Jones earned a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Business Administration from 91制片厂. She has established three endowed scholarships at 91制片厂 (College of Engineering, College of Business and College of Sciences.) Additionally, she has a Foundation for the Hampton Roads Virginia as well as a scholarship for the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia.

Toykea joined Johnson & Johnson in 2005 as part of the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and has held several Supply Chain positions of increasing responsibility within Pharmaceutical (2005 - 2009), Consumer Products (2009 - 2016) and Medical Device (2016 - 2018) sectors. Her career spans in the capacity of Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Project Management and Strategy & Deployment. In 2018, she made a transformational move into Medical Device Sales for Johnson and Johnson.

Since 2015, Toykea has partnered with J&J Consumer Products Research & Development and Sustainable Health Enterprises (SHE) on a feminine product called Go! The product is a sanitary napkin manufactured out of banana fiber that women in Rwanda can purchase at an affordable rate. With her engineering and supply chain background, Toykea knew she could contribute to this initiative that impacts the lives of girls and women in Rwanda.

Ms. Jones also established three endowed scholarships at 91制片厂. Her most recent is the Toykea S. Jones Endowed Scholarship in Chemistry which was awarded for the first time Fall 2019 to rising 91制片厂 senior and Biochemistry major Alicia Bryan.
