When I first joined msluperamos in 2006, I was shocked at the number of times I’d had to explain that I didn’t think I was one of the only people to think of this, but you know what, at least they’re not all stupid.
To be fair, there is probably less of a problem with this site. We are a relatively new site, and we don’t yet have a ton of people following us. The problem is that the majority of the people who are following us are probably not people who are actually interested in what we have to say.
People who do want to know what we have to say are the people who have actually seen the trailer. There are people who have seen the trailer, but don’t like the game, or don’t play it, or just don’t care. The way to avoid the problems is to keep it short, simple, and informative.
We are a relatively new site and have only been around for 6 months or so, but we dont have a ton of people following us yet (we are still in beta testing), so we have a lot of potential questions, and we want to be sure to keep it simple and informative.
We have yet to see anyone who does not like a game, but would like to hear from someone who does.
We think that a lot of our visitors come in because they like the trailer, but a lot of them are also just curious. We want to make sure we are providing them with information they want before they click the “like” button.
Our goal is to keep it simple. This means that we want to keep the message simple and we know that we don’t want to overwhelm people with too many things to know. If people want to see a video or trailer with a description of what’s to come, then we just put it on our website. If people want to see the description with a link to the trailer, we just put it on our website.
We are in the process of building a new website, so we are trying to work with our partners to figure out how to do this.
