- Acute care - evaluation and treatment for illnesses such as: respiratory infections, skin infections, urinary tract infections, cold and flu like illnesses. Unexpected injuries.
- Wellness visits - physicals, annual gynecological exams, preventative screenings such as cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, and sickle cell testing.
- Management of chronic medical conditions and medication refills for those conditions such as asthma, allergies, high blood pressure, diabetes, mild depression, and more.
- Gynecological care - pelvic exams, pap smears, birth control consultations, breast and menstrual issues. Insertion and removal of Nexplanon.
We offer in-office lab testing and have experienced laboratory technicians to draw blood for in-office and outsourced lab testing.
In office tests may include but not limited to: rapid strep, flu, mono, covid testing, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, and blood sugar.

Instructions: Check in for your appointment 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time and before entering Student Health Services.

Check-in using your phone or laptop. Your device location must be turned on for check-in. Note: Appointment Self-check-in is only enabled within a certain parameter of the clinic's location

Log into your Monarch Wellness Portal.

Go to the Home page and scroll down to see your appointment information.

If you see a button called "Forms", select and complete the form(s) presented. Note: Not all appointment reasons require this.

Then select the "Check-in" button when it appears.

Once you are checked in come into the office and let the front office staff know you are here for your appointment, and that you have checked in.

To reach the on-call clinician after hours or on the weekend, please call 91制片厂 Public Safety at 757-683-4000 and ask to speak to the on-call clinician. Public Safety will page the on-call clinician, who will return the call to the student and advise them accordingly.

To find immunization records contact a previous university, local health department, primary care provider, high school try Google "where can I get immunization records for (name of high school, city, state).

Fees & Payment
The Student Health Services fee provides students with quick and easy access to health care services. This fee covers the cost of an office visit. Other fees may be incurred during your office visit for vaccines, laboratory testing, and other ancillary fees. The Student Health Fee does not replace a health insurance plan.
The University negotiates for a health insurance plan by a health insurance company, that is required of all international students and eligible graduate students. This insurance plan may cover some of the cost of ancillary fees.
The semester health fee covers your visit with a healthcare provider. Ancillary fees, such as laboratory testing, orthopedic supplies, vaccines etc., are provided at an additional cost.
Fees are billed to their student account. If charges for Health Services are billed to the student's account, they can be paid online (by credit card plus CC fee) or at the Rollins Hall cashier's office (cash, check, money order).
Cash:
Cash payments must be made in person in the Cashiers' Office. Service hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We encourage students not to bring large sums of cash onto the campus. Large payments of cash are not recommended. The University offers other convenient payment options.
Checks and Money Orders:
Please make checks or money orders payable to "91制片厂" and include the student's identification number on the check. Students paying by check or money order are encouraged to pay by mail. Returned checks and charges are subject to a returned check fee. Please allow 7 business days for mail payments to be posted.

Health Insurance
No, we do not file insurance claims. The student is issued a "walk out statement" after each appointment, which can be used to file a claim with your insurance company.
The only insurance plans available are for international students who are required to have health insurance and graduate students.
No. Each full-time student pays the semester health fee and is entitled to all services we offer. Lab, injection, immunization, and other fees apply. You may take the "walk-out statement" we give you after your appointment and file the claim with your insurance provider.
